Reliance Communications hikes call tariffs by 20 percent
Reliance Communications, a part of the Anil Ambani-led Reliance Group, has increased call tarrifs for its CDMA and GSM connections by 20 percent in selected circles, officials said on Sunday.
‘The tariff has been increased from 1 paisa to 1.2 paise per second in most of the circles,’ a senior executive said.
While for GSM customers the hike has been implemented on both calls made from Reliance to Reliance network as well as other networks, for CDMA customers the change will be effective only for calls made from Reliance to other networks.

To my horror the Nokia E6 review unit that WOMWorldNokia sent me seems to have developed a fault and has been spontaneously rebooting every ten minutes or so since yesterday morning. I really like the phone and hoped to get a few more days use out of it before I have to send it back. I've been successful in the past at fixing misbehaving Symbian phones with a soft or hard reset so I set about trying to reset the phone to see if that would help.
Hyperlinking Text in Google Spreadsheets
One of my biggest complaints about Google Docs Spreadsheets is that their is no formatting menu to add hyperlinks to text in a cell. You actually have to use the following notation to make it happen:
=hyperlink(”URL”,”Hyperlinked Text”)
Beyond that to indicate a cell is hyperlinked you need to format it yourself or the cell will simply appear as having text in the box with no link. Mousing over gives you a little indicator that the cell is a link but you probably would want to format the text with a blue color and underline so you know that it’s a link. My other pet peeve is that the context sensitive help doesn’t indicate that you need the quotes around your pair so entering the example:
Tips and Tricks for Using Skype
- Our company has moved to Skype as its standard for instant messaging mainly because we like the chat room feature and it includes the added benefit of making calls (we just added a new office). I particularly like the logging features that allow you to retain past conversations which is handy for going back and grabbing phone numbers and URLs that are often passed back and forth among co-workers.
Here are some of the tips and tricks I have picked up in the first couple of weeks using Skype on a daily basis. Some came from my co-workers some are on my list of to try later.

--> login into hotmail account.. ( if you don't have hotmail account, signup and login )
--> goto options -> mail options -> mobile alerts
--> click on SIGN UP WITH MSN MOBILE
--> Click on Wireless service provider
--> enter your 10 digit mobile number
--> See the code in mobile sent by msn and enter in Confirmation box on screen
--> goto options -> mail options -> mobile alerts
--> click on SIGN UP WITH MSN MOBILE
--> Click on Wireless service provider
--> enter your 10 digit mobile number
--> See the code in mobile sent by msn and enter in Confirmation box on screen
